Our client, a leading international heavy equipment and mining solutions group, is seeking an experienced Aftermarket Manager to drive operational excellence across its service operations in the DRC. The role will establish and standardise aftermarket processes, workshop standards, tooling, operational KPIs and service delivery practices. The successful candidate will work closely with local and international teams to improve efficiency, profitability, quality and customer satisfaction across workshops, field service operations, customer repair centers and mining sites. Responsibilities: Define and implement best-practice workshop standards, infrastructure requirements and service processes aligned with OEM and customer requirements. Drive 5S, Lean and contamination control initiatives to improve workshop efficiency, quality and profitability. Establish and standardise aftermarket operational KPIs, dashboards and performance management processes across service operations. Lead tooling management, including standardisation, inventory control, tracking, usage and calibration. Centralise and share technical knowledge and best practices across service operations and local entities. Develop standard processes, job activities and service team requirements to support customer repair centre and field service operations. Support the development of technical training programs and service team competency requirements. Define and maintain Dealer Operating Standards for aftermarket activities. Support new facility development and ensure infrastructure meets operational, OEM and customer requirements. Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure service operations meet quality, compliance and operational excellence standards. Requirements: Qualification and Skill Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Fluent in French and English. 10 years' experience in aftermarket / aftersales management, with 5 years' experience in a leadership role. Experience with big brand heavy equipment within the mining sector. Strong knowledge of heavy equipment aftermarket operations, including parts, service delivery and customer requirements. Proven experience with workshop operations, tooling, inventory management and service processes. Strong understanding of KPI development, Lean methodology, 5S and operational improvement. Experience working with suppliers, customers and cross-functional teams. Knowledge of supply chain and aftermarket sales strategies. Computer literate in Microsoft Office; SAP experience will be advantageous. Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work across multiple operations and support continuous improvement initiatives. Benefits and Contractual information: Permanent contract. Residential basis, with family status offered.
